Before you start
- Check your status in Settings › Plan & Billing. Current Plan shows a Trial ended or Not active badge when access has ended.
What keeps working, and what pauses
Your saved API key and downloaded Local AI models are kept. When access ends, Elephas says so plainly, for example: “Your Elephas trial has ended, so your own key and the on-device model are paused. Choose a plan in Settings › Plan & Billing to continue. Your key, models and Brains are still here.”
Steps to continue

Open Plan & Billing
On Mac, choose Elephas › Settings… or press ⌘,. On Windows, choose File › Settings… or press Ctrl+,. Then choose Plan & Billing.

Choose a plan
Under Choose a Plan, pick a plan and click Continue to Checkout. Pay in your browser.

Pick up where you left off
When you see Payment confirmed. Your plan is active., ask your next question. Your Brains, chats and settings are exactly as you left them.
How it works
- A trial ends exactly 7 days after you started it. Plan & Billing shows the date and time in advance. Nothing is charged.
- A cancelled paid plan ends at the end of the period you paid for. Until that date, everything keeps working.
- Your own key and Local AI need a trial or plan. They are included with Personal and Professional, and pause when access ends. Elephas checks your plan online about once an hour, so the pause can take up to 60 minutes to show.
- Personal Sync data: your synced computers keep their local copies. See after you cancel for what happens to the encrypted copy on the sync service.

Open Plan & Billing and click Refresh. If you signed in with more than one account, check that Signed in as shows the account you paid with. See restore your plan.
