How many Super Brains can I create?

Unlimited. Create as many as you need—one per client, one per project, one per industry. There are no artificial limits on the number of brains you can maintain.

What's the file size limit for documents?

Individual files can be up to 100MB. For total storage, you're limited by your Mac's available disk space. Most consultants use 5-20GB total across all brains.

Can I share a Super Brain with team members?

Not directly within the app, but you can export a brain and share the file with colleagues. They import it into their Elephas, and they have the same knowledge base. Good for small consulting teams.

Does it work with scanned PDFs (images)?

Yes! Elephas uses OCR to extract text from scanned PDFs. It works with both text-based PDFs and image-based scanned documents.

How accurate are the answers?

Very accurate because answers are grounded in your source documents. Elephas cites where it found each piece of information, so you can verify. It doesn't hallucinate facts not in your documents.

Can I query across multiple Super Brains at once?

Currently, you query one brain at a time. This is intentional—it maintains per-client data isolation. However, you can create "meta-brains" that combine knowledge from multiple clients (with sensitive info removed).

What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

Your Super Brains and all documents remain on your Mac. You can still access and read them—you just can't query them with AI anymore. If you resubscribe, everything works again immediately.

Do I need technical skills to set this up?

No. If you can drag and drop files into a folder, you can use Super Brain. The interface is designed for non-technical consultants. The only "technical" part is installing Ollama if you want offline AI (and we have step-by-step instructions).
