No. MindClaw runs entirely on your Mac. Your Mac is the server. Agents use macOS background scheduling to run on time, survive sleep/wake cycles, and catch up after restarts. Telegram relay goes through a lightweight Cloudflare Worker. No VPS to manage.

MindClaw polls a Cloudflare Worker relay for your Telegram messages. Messages are encrypted in transit, never stored on the relay, and deleted immediately after delivery to your Mac. Your agent processes everything locally. The relay is just a lightweight message bridge. It never sees your data or agent responses.

MindClaw agents do the same job as specific SaaS tools. The API Health Monitor replaces UptimeRobot ($7/mo). The Expense Logger replaces Toshl Finance. The Research Digest replaces Feedly Pro ($8/mo). You pay for the LLM API calls (usually pennies per day for scheduled agents) instead of monthly subscriptions. Already have Claude Max or Pro? Use Claude Code mode. Your agents run on your existing subscription at no additional cost.
