Elephas

Using Elephas in Different Apps

How Elephas Super Command works in Mail, Slack, browsers, writing apps, and other applications on your Mac.

Elephas works everywhere on your Mac

Super Command is designed to work in any application. Select text, open the command bar, and Elephas adapts to the context of whatever app you are using.

Email (Mail, Gmail, Outlook) & Smart Reply

Select an incoming email, open Super Command, and ask Elephas to draft a reply, or use the dedicated Smart Reply feature (shortcut Ctrl + Cmd + R, the floating icon, or the menu). Smart Reply has two modes:

  • Inline — reads the open email's thread and drafts a context-aware reply without entering the reply pane
  • External — select any text to reply to

Choose an affirmative or negative reply, pick a tone (Casual, Friendly, Professional), and optionally reply from a Super Brain so answers draw on your knowledge base. To answer repeat support questions from your docs, build a Super Brain of your knowledge base (PDF, DOCX, MD, Notion, web pages) and use a support reply workflow / snippet against it.

Spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel)

Elephas can turn a plain-text description into a Google Sheets or Excel formula. With Snippets you can also automate spreadsheet tasks — extracting or enhancing column data, counting word/phrase occurrences, generating text from rows, and validating values (e.g. checking emails).

Messaging (Slack, Teams, iMessage)

Select a message thread and ask Elephas to summarize the conversation or suggest a response based on your documents.

Browsers (Safari, Chrome, Arc)

Select text on any web page and use Super Command to ask questions about it, summarize it, or compare it against your indexed documents.

Writing apps (Pages, Word)

Select a paragraph and ask Elephas to rewrite it, expand on it, or check it against your source materials.
